There really is so much to be said about these two women and how they influenced fashion that I almost feel unworthy of the task. I have idolized them from a young age and was in awe of their bravery, inventiveness and fresh look on fashion.
Marlene Dietrich was in a movie called Morocco in 1930. In one of the scenes she appears in drag and does a show at a club. She is in a complete tux and looks better in it then any other man in the room.
Katherine Hepburn was famous for her somewhat androgynous look. She was the first woman to ever wear pants on the red carpet. She knew what looked good on her, what she liked and what she wanted to wear and she had no fear of doing just that.
I am feeling especially inspired by these women recently and wanted to put together an outfit from H & M for fall that these women might have worn:
