Looking at fashion in a globally conscious and rebellious way. Not all of us have glitter in our eyes.

Mission Statement

       I think that the
fashion world today might
not alway be looking in the
 right direction or at the
right things. I think that
they focus too much on beauty
and dress size; How thin you
are, how long your hair is;
What designer made your
clothes or how much they cost.
 Those things, in my opinion,
 are not the things that
fashion and style and
expression is about.
Those people have glitter
 in their eyes. They can't
 see what's really important.

In my opinion, whats truly important is having fun. Expressing yourself and being free to be who you are. Embracing your size, shape, color and taking risks that lead you to people and experiences that enrich your life. Thats what fashion has done for me. It starts a conversation. It represents a culture.

I also believe that fashion can be a form of performance art. People can use fashion to get a message across about their beliefs and how they view the world. It can be a statement a walking, changing art installation that is unique and all you.

So thats what I want to promote on this blog. Fun. Acceptance.Taking risks. Appreciation of skill and art. Also, the ability to be resourceful. If you don't have the money to buy something or if you can't find what you want, make it yourself! I want to encourage a creative spirit and a independent nature. Don't rely on consumer culture and brands to provide things for you to express yourself with. Be creative and make your own art identity!
